Hi, I'm Anelise!

I recently graduated from James Madison University where I studied Media Art and Design with a concentration in Interactive Design. I also double minored in Philosophy; and Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communications.
My design debut happened in the fourth grade with the production of my very own magazine, The Girl Gazette. The feature story highlighted Kanani, the 2011 American Girl Doll of the Year. After all, American Girl Dolls were the most easy-going models, and let's just say I understand my nine-year-old girl audience on a personal level.

In middle school, I received my first digital camera - a bright red, Nikon D3100 DSLR. Naturally, my best friend Micaela and I started a photography Instagram account named, "Looking_Through_Lens." The account is still public, but if you take a look and feel overwhelmed by the string lights and VSCO filters, don't say I didn't warn you.
More than a few years later and I'm still on this media art and communications kick. Fortunately, I've graduated from putting American Girl Dolls on the cover of homemade magazines, and now I put *real* models on the covers of magazines. But I still love what I do, and I can't wait to be a part of whatever Instagram accounts, magazines, and brands lie in my future.
